alan29 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I need to recharge the battery. My bike has a datatool alarm. Do I have to do anything to the alarm either when disconnection or re-fitting the battery? Is the alarm likely to go off at any stage? Quote
Revvin Kevin Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I need to recharge the battery. My bike has a datatool alarm. You'll need to put the alarm in service mode prior to disconnecting the battery. On a series 3, you turn on the ignition then press and hold the right button on the alarm keyfob. Once charged you can refit the battery then take the alarm out of service modeAlternatively, why not just charge the battery on the bike ? Quote
alan29 Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Thanks. The bike is kept outside. I don't think I can get the lead to stretch, and wet weather. Quote
