sam64 Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 hi guys got a 2001 honda 125 vara my rear break is sticking and it makes a rubbing sound. Rear wheel is quite stiff to turn by hand when on center stand any help would be great. Quote
Guest Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Hey Sam,sounds like the brake caliper is seized/sticking.In a nutshell:remove caliperremove brake padsclean caliper and pistonpump piston out a little bit, clean some more, ensure free movement.push piston back inpump outpush inyou get the idea New copper grease on the pads, reassemble, should be good to go NOTE This is a bit of a generic guide, I am assuming you have half a clue, if ya don't please at least purchase a haynes or similar. Or ask someone handy with spanners to help you!! Quote
