Guest Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Has anybody got a Kapten Rider GPS. Ive seen one and was really impresssed, I think im going to buy one, just wondering if anybody has one already. Its a fully voice activated pocket sized GPS. Its screenless so the directions are given to you through slimline speakers which you fit inside your helmet. Its voice activation allows you to speak into it where you would like to go, simply by attatching the microphone inside your helmet. It also has a built in mp3 player, FM radio and bluetooth link to your mobile phone. You can say which artist and song you would like to hear, say which radio station you would like to listen to, and make a call to a friend by saying their name. All this can be done without pressing any buttons and can be done whilst riding along. The Kapten Rider also has lots of commands you can ask it and it will give you the answer e.g. ask it what is the battery level and it will tell you, ask it the distance or time to destination and it will tell you, ask it what time it is and it will tell you the time. Other commands you can ask include: Where am I, speed limit, last recoreded speed, arrival time, next navigation instruction, previous navigation instruction, what am I listening to (mp3), avoid highways, avoid tolls and more. The Kapten Rider also comes supplied with earphones for use without your helmet, so it is ideal for roadtrips when you have reached your destination and need to find somewhere your not familiar with. The Kapten Rider is well priced too at £199.99 and offers quality with affordability.Visit unauthorised link removed please contact admin for our advertising policyfor more info.If anybody already owns one of these or has any comments it would be very helpful as i am looking to buy one .
