Guest Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 AN annual motor show will be held later than usual this year as organisers aim to make it the best event ever. The Furness British Motorcycle Club will hold its classic motorcycle, scooter and car show in September, rather than in its usual chosen month of May.The event is designed to show off some of the best motor vehicles South Cumbria has to offer. The group is also hosting the show to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance and the Furness General Hospital Child Development Centre. And because the club celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, organisers plan to make the annual event better than ever. The show is being held at the Hawcoat Park Sports and Social Club, on September 5, from 10am until 4pm.Anyone interested in entering the show can contact Furness British Motorcycle Club chairman Paul Taylor for more information on 01229 826370.
