neutral problem

Well im not sure if its the switch but when my bike is cold it shows the nutreal light and stands on it's side running as normal but when it warms up the light goes out and if i put the side stand down while in nutreal it cuts out, also there is a slight noise coming from somewhere thats sounds like griding but its very slight. goes away if i pull the clutch in.

Its a 1997 cbr600f

is that the one next to the kick stand? and how do i clean it, sry im new to biking

no its the neutral switch, or find someone to help. its behind the front sprocket cover somewhere...

Also, just to stop you worrying that slight grinding noise is your clutch plates touching each other, whirring away even when in neutral. It's normal, don't worry about it. As soon as you pull the clutch lever the plates are separated, hence no noise
