Gavskin Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 i have my standard pipes to play with,my plan is to cut them down before the baffle, does anybody know what effect this will have on the running of the bike? Quote
Guest Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 wouldn't it be easier/cheaper to get some slash cuts, then if you don't like, you still have the originals... Quote
Gavskin Posted April 19, 2010 Author Posted April 19, 2010 well i got a set of slash cuts off ebay for a very cheap price of £75! they came friday and i fitted them (all excited about how good it would sound) hit the starter and blaaaaahhhhgggg no louder than the standard ones so it still sounds like a sowing machine im thinking there early slash cuts with a big baffle wich is non removable,so this led to me thinking about cutting the standard one i have now doing nothing Quote
Guest Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 or you could look at removing the baffle from the others.. Quote
Gavskin Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 update-i cut one at work the other night......the bafflle runs the whole lengh of the pipe cant get it out without further destruction.....to say i now have one fecked pipe is an understatement its no wonder these pipes weigh a ton!! Quote
