According to the Hunts Post, Huntingdon Fire Station is holding a Bikesafe event this sunday from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

It is aimed at highlighting safety needed when getting back on the bike after the winter season. Various organisations and shops attending include. UFO Motorcycles, Peterborough Panthers, MAGPAS, Ultimate Bike Gear, St. Neots Motorcycles and quite a few more.

I will be going along at about 10.00am so if anyone wants to join me, I`ll be leaving my place at 9.45am (PE28 4TQ). Should be worth a look at least.

I reckon it will be worth a look, not sure what time I'll head down though

Like I say, I`ll be leaving mine at 9.45 so if you want to ride over with me I`ll see you then.

How was it?

I have to admit, I didn't miss going, the rowing up north was really good and the cider afterwards was even better!

Not much there, few small stands and information on advaced rider courses. Rained so not many there.

When I got there all the stands where packing away but spent about an hour chatting to the two police motorcyclists there. Two top lads, gave me lots of advice, didn't feel like I was chatting too police, just two huge motorcycle enthusiasts. Gave me a tour of the bikes and all their gadgets, one of them was the unmarked blade (they are replacing the red blade with an unmarked gtr1400). One of them even took the time to tell me every step he took to become a police rider as it's one thing I would like to do.
