The examiner is not looking for absolute perfection, just a good, safe, largely correct ride.

You are permitted to make up to 5 riding (minor) faults on the Module 1 Test and up to 10 riding (minor) faults on the Module 2 Test and still pass. Any fault regarded as serious or dangerous will result in a fail of that particular Module.

I don't get one thing - how people report that they passed Module 2 easily with a few minors and compare it to Module 1 saying that nothing worried them about Mod 2 unlike Mod 1... Surely there is more areas to fail at in Mod 2 in comparrison to Mod 1 ? Just a single missed lifesaver is a serious fault...

1 fault you can make that I am aware of is you can skid a little on the emergency stop as long as you regain control quickly ~(seen it with me own eyes )

I think people find the mod 2 easier because they are out Doing what they Do best :Riding a bike on the road trying to be safe and responsible.

Module 1 seems at the moment all about driving like a stunt rider in a car park which is not what most people took up riding to DO

I have not seen a single person riding a bike like they did it on Module 2 test, and I disagree that you have to ride like a stunt rider in a car park for Module 1, not even close TBH. But again this is IMHO.
