Guest Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Hi mate, theres a manual on here for the GSXF, your engine has an automatic adjuster, same engine as me...http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/view ... 27&t=21817look at the engine from the back, and you should see it under the carb chimneys..you can replace it with a manual item.. but I haven't Quote

Guest Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Thanks alot, i think it is loose as theres a bit of a rattle do you know if there is anything i could do with the auto 1 to try and get it working again. remove it, and give it a clean, then refit but make sure it goes back properly.. i.e closed then it will adjust itself accordingly..could be as its an old GSXF the chain is out of adjustment life... have a gander at a haynes manual, and check out Oldskoolsuzuki.info, go to "infoBoard", "Oil Cooled" they will have a definative answer... also check your oil level, low oil gives some strange noises... and an oil change is a worthwhile job...where bouts are you? and are you hanging around?
