Guest Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 For whatever reason the bike wont start in the morning and I have to push start it which is not easy either. In the afternoon after a whole day in the park yard it starts all right. Reading a bit on similar problems I checks the voltage on the battery this morning. I drops to slightly below 12V when I turn the ignition key. When I press the starter it drops to around 8V. Is this normal? Not sure what else I could check. Thanks for any advice.yaro Quote
truxx Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 With the engine turned off the battery should read around 12v.With engine running it should read 14v at least. How old is the battery? it's often worth replacing them anyway after 2+ years old as they do go bad. Quote
