Has anyone got any experience of Halvarssons Targa trousers?

I am looking at something good for summer other than my jeans and MX gear and these seem to claim to be good for all weathers, with vents and a cool lineing for summer and windproof layer for winter.

Call me an old sceptic but I dont really want to pay out £260 for a pair of trousers to then end up wearing kevlar jeans because they are to hot in summer.

No specifics, but i used to work for a company that sold Halvarssons all I'll say is it was very popular and had very good feedback!

We stock Halvarssons/Jofama/Lindstrand (all same Swedish manufacturer) gear at Pidcock and I'm more than impressed with it. Sizing is sensible, quality and protection all present and correct and priced better than the equivalent Alpinestars or Rukka gear.

Here is the info on the Targa trousers, they look pretty much top spec to me:

Men’s pants of Airdura treated with TFL Cool System®. Temperature-regulating liner. Extra reinforcements in exposed areas. Can be zipped to jacket. Waterproof and windproof.

Dryway+® membrane, detachable

TFL Cool System®

Outlast® liner, detachable

HI-ART®

Adjustable CE-approved protectors

Leather seat and panels from inside of knee down leg

Vents

Stretch above knee

Leg pockets

Reflective panels

Men 48–62

Cheers QB, at least I know where I can see some, the specs look really good I guess I'm just sceptical about how cool they will be in the summer. I might have to pop over some time and take a look.

Yeah pop in and see me on a Saturday Akeface, you can try on our Ikea bike gear to your heart's content. Gradually most of the staff are becoming converts. I'm getting the boots at the weekend (the only boots I've found that adjust enough to get my fat legs in).

Cheers QB, it may be a few weeks before I am brave enough to risk coming over, you just know as soon as i see them or try them on I will want to spend the money, so i had better prepare the bank account first
