Anyone knows what is the ok temperature for CG125 ? I've put 5W40 full synthetic oil in and I kinda think that the engine is now getting quite hot, as in hotter than before ? Any hints ?

how can you tell the temperature does it have a gauge? air cooled engines arn't designed to run standing still idealy, they need the air flow through fins to keep them cool.

I wouldnt have put 5w40 in tbh... 10w 40 sounds more suited for a Honda CG125 as 5 just sounds too thin :?

Thinners oils are designed for use at colder temperatures as oils tend to thicken up when the temperatures drop

10W40 in my gixer as recommended in the workshop manual I downloaded from tinternet

Same in the GSX and same in the car
