Guest Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Hello all , Having an issue with my 98 Carb Honda Blackbird . Seem to be havin a loss of power , basically wen i'm ridin along , wen i go to open her up and "pin it " it justs coughs and splutters ...... Have found this happening wen cruisin in 6th and givin it full throttle , or even if droppin down a couple of cogs to overtake ...Someone has suggested too much fuel going to carbs , just wondered if anyone would have any ideas .Many thank, Sparky Quote

If you gently roll the throttle open , then is much better . But i think it does feel a bit lumpty at 3800-4000 rpms .Have read through a post on another site , and guy tried everything and still no joy .. not sure want to have to trace by trail and error , but most likely will have too !! lol Quote
Guest Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 you might want to wait for Pete, he has a Blackbird.. could be TPS (Throttle position sensor), but I'm more at home with Suzukis, myself.. Quote
