Guest Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I'm excited but bricking it at the same time because it's on a Saturday so probably be really busy on the roads. But I do have 2 years experience on the road (car).I think I've watched every 'how to ride a motorbike' video on youtube .Hopefully I'll be okay. I hear it's ridiculously easy?!I think my mate will rip me for so long if I fail Quote
webslinger2k Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 mate, you will be fine...did mine a couple of weeks back. There is no easy, or hard about it - personally, I think its just down to how confident you are, and how well you adapt and get the feel for the bike and being on it.Even if it takes ages to get through the training, you will have to meet a certain expectation from the instructors before they sign you off and let you loose...As for the road part, and it being busy....all roads are busy these days, he wont let you out on the road until you have proven you can control the machine you are on - and even then, you will be on some little housing estate or something until you have mastered left and right turns, junctions etc...great feeling going out of that gate for the first time, even if it is with the instructor...what a rush.
