just fumes or a leak?

hi ho all!

just got back from a quick trip into town and was outside trimming down the kick board for the kitchen counter and I noticed a haze coming off one of the drain pipes under my engine. When I put my finger under it, it goes to liquid that smells like petrol, is this just the stuff left in the engine seeping out as its supposed to or is it a leak?

i would guess its a breather pipe, so its hot fumes..

that was my first thought too, just wanted to check. just had another look at it now and the haze is gone.
