Hi,

I'm Looking To Start Riding A Motorbike, I Have Recently Started a New Job In Bristol And Between the Severn Bridge Toll and Petrol Im Paying £120 Per Week!, I Want To Get  a Motorbike Because It Will Be Cheaper.

I'm Currently 21 and Have a Full UK Driving Licence Since April 2008.

How Do I Go About Getting My Bike Licence?

Thank You :)

Hi, have a look at CobbZ's guide to getting your motorbike license.

It's in this forum and its really informative!!

All the best.

If you're looking to save a few quid, I'd suggest you get yourself a 125cc machine. They hold their value well, it might be cheaper to learn to ride on one (since you'll be OK to do a restricted licence), and in terms of fuel you'll get over 100 mpg from some models. My CBF125 did over 130mpg and you can get one for about £1700 almost new.

The only thing to add is that you can get a roadworthy 125cc for like £500 or £600 - something like what i have on my avatar
