My bike is meant to have a 160 wide tyre, can I fit a 150

As i've not got a matching compound tyres on my gsxr 400 i wondered if I could put my BT090's on it. The front tyre is the same size but the rear i've got is 150/60-17, and fitted is 160/60-17. I know I will have a quicker turn in which should benefit me on the track. But will it be ok on the road, i.e, straight road riding

hi m8 i ride a zx7r that should run a 190 on the rear but i use a 180(for quicker turning) and thats fine on the road.
