Bike not ticking over...

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Just a quickie, took my bike in few weeks back for full service and MOT, had loads done, cost just over £300. Since i had the bike back it doesn't seem to tick over. It keeps cutting out when sitting idle at traffic lights etc, even with choke out it cuts out. Should i take it back as i have had new oil and filters, new air filters, etc... or is it something i can do my self?

Cheers

if you have covered very few miles on it since they serviced it pop back in it might just need the tickover turning up.once warm if you keep pulling choke on all that will do is make it stall anyway

It sounds possible that when they took the tank off they didn't refit a vacuum pipe properly. Worth having a quick look under the tank to see
