Hi i know i hven't been in well... to long but.. seeing a 50 scooter isn't classed a bike.. but i desperatly need help with my problem

I have tried the more dedicated pug club uk,but haven't yet got much of an answer as to "the knocking noise i can here" more of the head gasket most likely being on its way out...

so any help will be much appreciated

right

the bike is a 99 V plate,50CC peugeot speedfight LCDP (liquid cooled)

a few weeks back the weather turned cold, and the bike wasn't being used, but every few days i used to start it up and let it get warm (to dry out any dampness etc) and noticed the idle speed was mucher lower than normal, due to the cold air, leaning the mixture,i adjusted the pilot screw and brung the idle up slightly to a normal idle.

When revved off idle OR to even moving off for the first time from cold,it throws out LOADS of white smoke,so i most likely need to adjust the cable for the oil pump

But... i have now noticed when the bike is becoming warm on idle a "knock OR clonk" which when you go out for say 20-30 minutes becomes much louder and slightly more intermittent than before. but dosen't knock or clonk when revved (only on idle)

I have also noticed "white fuzz" like water and anti freeze thats crystallized around the head gasket area. and has left me wondering now" this could be the reason why the idle isn't always stable" due to air seaping into the head or whatever

here's a video (more sound) of the knocking you can hear the knock noise around 12 sec's in and near the end Its a much clearer knock than what the rest of the bike sounds like.

i know the quality isn't the best but if you listen to it a couple of times its a high pitch "knock"

any help is much appreciated
