stevie16v Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Had an off last year and in the process managed to dent the toecap in my boot, im assuming its steel. They are fine apart from that, Does anyone know if there's a way it can be reformed? Quote
mikey69 Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 No but....I didn't think steel capped boots where great to ride in - or that bike boots had steel in them. The thought being, if something runs over a steel boot and crashes the steel, it stays crashed (along with anything inside it). Leather/Kevlar protection etc, would just reform automatically. Quote

My CBT instructor told me steel caps were a bad idea as if they get pushed/folded backwards they can cut your toes off Quote
stevie16v Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Now i think of it, it probably is a pretty bad idea. I remember it pinching my toes quite bad when it happened. New bots it is then Quote
