Well I have finally been able to to book my das! Really excited to be honest. I have my Cbt next weekend and my mod2 in the first week of march.

I wanted to do it all in one week originally but having talked to the test centre saw sense and decided to spread it all out. I hope to be riding a gsxr 600 by the end of April if all goes to plan :0)

Will keep you posted.

Cheers folks, off to get my gear this weekend. Done loads of research and decided to go to a HUGE place in Swindon called 'George White'.

Hoping to get leathers, boots, gloves and helmet for £900. Looking to buy last seasons stuff :D

Well had my CBT today and it was amazing. Definately have the bug :D

On my CBT there were 4 of us. One guy already did his DAS but has to re-sit it all as didn't send off his papers! One lad has been riding as a delivery boy, and the final lad was re-doing his CBT. This made me feel a bit indimidated and made my riding look worse by comparison.

As a result the instructor initially told me i could not complete my CBT and go on the road which was frustrating. I then had a second session in a car park with another instructor and after 10 minutes he got the decision reversed...so happy days! Unfortunately it was too late for me to do the full amount of road riding so i will finish it off when i do my next lesson.

It was amazing fun and I enjoyed it more than i thought i would. I did not stop smiling all day! The instructors were very very good. They were helpful, easy to talk to and made day really fun. The equipment and bikes were top so that was ace. I can't wait to go back and carry on with my DAS :0)

Went back for my first lesson today which we used to get my CBT certificate finished. As mentioned earlier due to the first instructors hessitation i ran out of time to do road manouvers so could not get my certificate first time around.

It felt a lot better this time around. I was a lot more confident and comfortable on the bike and enjoyed it even more!

Passed my theory today as well :0)

Well I have had 2 3&1/2 hour 500 lessons now which were great and went for my mod1 today.

Was a bit nervous about my u turns but sorted them before I went to the yes centre. So I rock up prepared, excited and nervous. My turn comes around and only then I discover I have all my papers apart from my theory test certificate :0( I left I in the boot of my car. A very expensive and stupid mistake.

Why could they not look me up on the system and find out I had passed?!?!?

Anywho, have re booked it for 2 weeks away. So frustrating to fail without even stepping on the bike. Gutted.

Aw nooo, bad luck :(

I did the exact same thing the second time i was sitting my mod 1. I blame it on the fact that the theory pass certificate doesn't really look like a certificate :

In the digital age, why do we need any paperwork at all? I kept all my documents in a single folder, to make sure I had them all.

Yes i believe it has closed due to pot holes or something.

I was training in epsom and had my tests at the burgess hill test centre. Not sure if this is the closest but he said he prefers it over croyden(when it was open)!

Hi mate, sorry for the delay in coming back to you. My testing is done at Hendon. Really good quality place.

Quick update...

Failed Mod 1 today :(

Was the nerves that got to me! Put a foot down on the figure of eight second loop. I was giving it too much beans!

VERY frustrating, did the rest of the test easily as there was no more pressure. Will book another and get it nailed...
