Leather waterproofing...More questions!

More questions...lol

Having bought some nice leathers i just want to make sure i treat and protect them properly. I have meguires leather cleaner/feeder so that element is sorted. From what i have read every 3-6 months seems to be right to treat/clean them.

What is the best product to waterproof/protect them? Is it needed given they are brand new?

Any help/advice is appreciated.

Pop them on over the top of your leathers if it's raining ect when not in use pop them under your seat

 

I have been looking in to them but apparently the gsxr 600 k6 has well....F~ck all room under the seat!

I dont plan on riding in the rain intentionally. I am getting the bike for track days and sunny days but i may get caught out now and then and just want to look after the leathers as best as possible :0)
