XmisterIS Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 I returned home today in the rain ... to find my nearside rear indicator filled with water I've taken the orange lens off to let it dry out and I'll use silicone sealant to put it back together again; but I'm not sure how effective that will be - the water could be running down the wires and into it that way. I don't want to seal round the wires because they'll be stuck in there forever!Has anyone else had that problem and if so, which indicators have you found that are good and waterproof? Quote
Guest Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Silicon sealant around the wires as well mate. You can always cut it away if needed.I don't think I have ever had a bike that doesn't have a leaky indicator, including my new one! Mind you, putting a tail tidy on has exposed the butt of the indies.... allowing water ingress ... hey ho Quote
