Bike cleaning supplies

Not sure if this is the right place, but I'd have thought it comes under accessories!

I just wanted to ask for some opinions on what stuff it would be useful to buy for cleaning my bike. Currently I've just been cleaning it all by hand with a bunch of cloths and come car soap but it takes bloody ages and doesn't really give that good a clean.

Was just wondering if anybody can recommend me some good products to use, I was looking at some of the muc-off stuff but wanted to get some opinions from a few people before I bought anything.

There is no quick fix. A mild soap and elbow grease is what it takes.

As for muc off, good stuff. But pricy, follow the instructions as it will attack any exposed aluminium if left on too long.

Personally, I use a diluted muc off, a mild hand soap, a soft brush and plentry of rags and a chamois. Takes a good hour.

I really wish there was a quick fix....
