Guest Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi all, I'm looking at getting a bike over the next year or so but will want one that requires a full license. I have a full driving license and had a 125cc years back as well as having quite a bit of trials experience as a teenager. Thing is I don't really know the best way about approaching it all. I take it I need to do a theory test but what are these DAS, mod1, mod2 etc that people are referring to.If anyone could give me the right route then that would help a lotPs I don't want to buy the bike until I have passed the necessary tests so I'll have to hire one which I'm assuming is a possibilityCheers, matt Quote
iiisecondcreep Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 1- do your CBT2- Theory test3- module 1 (off road manoeuvres section of the test)4- module 2 (road test)can either do your test on a 125 and have a restricted license for 2 yrs (can ride any motorcycle up to 33bhp, inc restricted big bikes)or, if you are over 21, on a 500 then you can ride any bike unrestricted.Training school will include bike hire in lesson cost.
