nadb Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Hi, feeling gutted today. Failed my mod 2, reason given I was too cautious!! Not sure what the examiner was getting at. I asked if I was hesitant, he replied no. Even more confused I asked what area do I need to work on, which he replied that I need to keep up with traffic. I said I thought I was, it was rush hour so I was leaving plenty of room from the vehicle in front (about 3 to 4 car lengths). Quote
Guest Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Taken a while for your first post!!Welcome btw Can't comment on your test I am afraid, maybe someone with a similar experience will comment..Don't let it get to you though! Quote
nadb Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Lol yes it has taken a while. Have been lurking on the forum a sometime. Will have to go and say hi properly. Quote
cypek Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I would say 3-4 car lenghts is too much especially at rush hour. You need to keep closer to keep the queues shorter. 3-4 lenghts is ok on motorway. In city 1 lenght is ok as speeds are much lower Quote
Stuno1 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 As above, i have been told the same distance as the size of the vehicle in front so 1 car, van lorry lenght etc. 3 to 4 is a long way back.Stu Quote
