Hi guys,

Don't laugh now.....and no Im not a memeber of the cone head family but I've just completed my DAS

and was left with a very sore forehead :-)

the training centre had a great selection of helmets and I ended up with an xxl and still had a sore forehead.

It seems that the front of my head comes to a bit of a point, not noticeable to look at but after wearing a

helmet I'm left with a red sore area at the top middle of my forehead.

Anyone else have this issue ? and is there a fix ? not to the head, to the helmets ?

many thanks

Jon

The only thing you can do is to go to a shop and try as many as you can. You should find one that fits :thumb:

And if you plan to stick around please say hello in our newbies section and put your location in your profile. Someone could advise you about good shops in your area

Hi Jon, there are a couple of really good shops not far from you in Farnham, Heine Gerrick and Infinity, both have a really good range of helmets and the staff at both are really helpful as well especially Infinity as they are an Arai 5 star dealer and do custom fitting work for Arai helmets, I'm sure they would be able to advise you even if you don't want to splash out on Arai lid.

good luck

It's a common theme on bike forums. The helmets some find most comfortable just don't fit other people.

I once rode a couple of hundred miles to buy a genuine Simpson USA lid only to find that when I got one to fit my head the chinbar was around my nose!

Arais don't fit me either, neither do Schuberths.
