Waterproof Oversuit-Same size or one size bigger?

Hello,

My leathers are size 50 EUR/ 40UK.

I need to buy a waterproof oversuit in case of unforecasted rain but the question is: should I buy an oversuit size 40 (size of my leather) or should I go for a size 42?

Am I correct assuming that oversuits already include leeway to easily fit over leathers?
