mike_pl Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 hi there...just was thinking about buying them.. but don't really know how they work .. if they work...and how do them affect battery life? Quote
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I got some of the Roxter brand, which is the Oxford brand re-branded £25 of fleabay! Bargin! Wired up to the ignition so no worry about leaving em on! Defo worth it! Quote
dwb Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Had dealer-fitted heated grips on my previous bike - warm palms but freezing fingers!Didn't bother on the new bike, so tried Keis heated inner gloves - bloody brilliant. Easy to connect to battery. Quote

dwb Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 My winter gloves were big enough but I'd say they add about the same bulk as a pair of regular woollen gloves. I've added some other comments on this post:http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=35163&p=619117&hilit=keis#p619117 Quote
mike_pl Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 would you say i could use them inner gloves as winter ones (not connected when worm) connected during chilly mornings and nightsand put something over the top during the colder months? Quote

sparky Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 use the exo2 myself. expensive, but they've lasted 4 years of use. just gone through the index finger on the left hand, but they're still good enough to use. Quote
Decor58 Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Got Oxford heated grips and they are one of the best accessories I've bought for the bike! They aren't prefect, in very cold weather (below 5 degrees) your finger tips and back of the hand would get a bit chilly after a while, however for the most part they're great! They will be the first thing I buy for any of my future bikes. One thing I would say though, try and get one with a dial rather than +- buttons as they're easier to adjust while riding.
