Guest Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Passed cbt and theory no trouble (been driving 20 years) But it took me 3 attempts to pass mod1.1st go I locked up on the E/stop, my instructor said I did lock up but recovered straight away and under control but the examiner did not see it that way.2nd go I clipped a cone on the swerve, totally my fault being cocky (thinking passed this first time no trouble again)3rd go passed but with no help from the examiner, he turned up late and told his first test he has to cancel due to time (I then went of my head at my instructor saying that I have paid for him and my test and lost time at work so he can get f*%ked if he was going to cancel mine). Then the examiner was told my his colleague that everyone is running late as they could not get on the site, so everyone went ahead which didn’t help the guy before me (I was second test) his head was not with him after being told NO then on the swerve he went OVER the speed trap (yes over the bar of the trap). Anyway after getting my head back on I went out and passed. After all that the examiner was really good and he helped me to get my nerves in check. One thing I think that helped me was I left my visor up (the first two attempts I left it down thinking a fly in my eye would not help) and that meant I was not getting a lot of O2 so my concentration was going down all the time, my instructor was always saying to me BREATH.Waiting for a slack period at work now then its of to book my mod2 fingers x Quote
Stuno1 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 well done for passing. Bring on mod 2!!!I found this nerve racking but a bit easier as you are just riding on the roads as you would drive your car. Good luck.Stu Quote

My instructor used to call them the Double Standards Agency! If you ride confidently and safely you'll pass. Quote
