The time has come for me to replace the tyres that came with the bike and I am looking at getting some Michelins.

I've seen variously the ones I think I want referred to as "Road Pilot 3", "Road 3ct", "Pilot 3ct" or "Road Pilot 3ct". Are these all just one and the same tyre but people want to confuse me by calling it four different names?!

No the road 3's pilot 3's are the newest model 3ct/2ct are dual compound softer on the outsides harder in the middle.

The next model down if you want to save some cash are the 2 series same thing an an excellent tyre, also it goes road, sports, power in levels of grippyness etc if that makes sense.

I got some ordinary pilot roads and saved £50 there fine used to use 2cts on the blade not sure what your riding but for normal road stuff any wil do you dont necesarily need the newest hope that helps.
