Well I had a belter of a ride out today with Chopster (Aaron) and his Dad (Steve), We all met at Holding services at Sleaford at about 10, it was a bit over cast but still fairly warm. The idea was to go up to Mablethorpe have fish and chips by the beach then head back. I was under instructions from Mrs Nogin to be back for 3 as I had to be available to ferry the kids about. It was a pain but it left us with plenty of time.

We set off up the A17 and then on the A153 towards Conningsby. I led at first and a gingerly pace, very aware there were two bikes behind me, the traffic was fairly heavy so I decided that I would only overtake if there was enough room for the other to do so as well, there is nothing worse or more dangerous then riding under the "catch up pressure"

Just outside Conningsby Chops took the lead, the traffic seem to disappear and we headed up towards Spilsby, with less traffic and Chops in front the pace picked up nicely, the roads conditions were great, the wind was cooling and other traffic sparse, just perfect!

At Spilsby I took over and we headed for a Petrol station to top up and pee stop... Darn you kidney stones!

The next was the windy road through Alford and up to Mablethorpe, the sun was now out and it was bloody warm so keeping the airflow going was a must we arrived at the Beach at about 11.30 ish and were all ready for Fish and chips! Thankfully, it was good food… even if I did eat Chops gravy! Sorry mate!

The ride back was great, but we seemed to hit a bit more traffic so I decided to bimble and enjoy the countryside.

All in all a great ride out
