i have a full drivers license and im almost certain thats ok to do my cbt on. (as it has provisional entitlement for a bike on it)

will i need to apply for a new bike license to do my actual bike test though (i.e mod 1 and mod 2) or will my full uk drivers license be ok?

A full car licence automatically provides provisional motorcycle entitlement

It's listed on the paper counterpart under provisional entitlements so you'll be fine. It's the same provisional entitlement to do your CBT as your full test so if it's good for one then it's good for t'other

a licence is a licence and its the entitlement that allows you to ride/drive different things

so as above and just send licence off when you pass to add bike to it.
