keith565 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 i'll shortly be doing a service on the bike but need a bit of advice.their book recommends the following oils(Recommended) Transmission oil: ROTRA MP 80 W 90.(Recommended) Gearbox oil: ROTRA MP/S 85 W 90but i am having trouble sourcing the 85w90.any ideas what to dothanks Quote

Unlike normal liquids that get thicker when cold, multigrade oils manage the miracle of being thinner when cold. The 90 is the important number as this is the viscosity at running temperature. The oil will have a temperature/climate range as I would have thought at absolute zero it would be a solid Quote
