nman1 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Just had a nice little windfall from work (and expecting another one soon) I decided that having had my two piece kit for getting on 4 or 5 years, and having worn it nearly every day of said 4 to 5 years, linings torn, velcro knackered, zips loose and pull apart, I could do with some new stuff. I noted, Lee and Scorpians post regarding Dainese kit and decided to go along to the dealer. Was offered the Lagua Seca on HP at 0% finance over 12 months. I`d have to make the first payment and then wait a couple of weeks before my application was accepted. Decided to pay cash and asked for a 10% discount for doing so which I got.Well, with the shite weather I`ve managed to get out with it about 4 times now. Very, very comfy bit of kit. Stretch panels in all the right places such as inner arms, underarms, waist, crotch and knees make the riding position very easy. Well vented, so when we did have a hot day I was very well cooled. Leather soft and suple so thinking it will be pretty much used to my bod in a short period of time. Protection armour is in all the right places. Fits like a glove, (to an extent) again making it very comfortable with no flapping bits or creasing up at joints.Couple of down sides, the jacket is very short and when zipped to the trousers it does ride up between the legs a bit making me a soprano (I should have zipped it up while trying it on but didn`t) however, while on the bike this is fine. Zips seem a bit lightweight. For my very often usage I`m wondering how long they will last. All in all, pretty chuffed. No more kit buying for the next 5 years. Concentrate on new/second bike from now on. [ispeed tripe, speed triple, speed triple ][/i] Quote
Scorpion Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 nice one mate, ive found all Dainese jackets to be similar to the mrs' boob tube, they are tiny. Im usually a medium, and have an XL in these, they are very small. Very comfy though! Quote
