Tommy tucker Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Hi all! Just a quick question, can you adjust your visor while riding or has it got to be done while at a standstill? Thank you! Quote
MattB Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Why would you need to?If it is misting up then get a pinlock or some anti fogging spray. You need to be in control of the machine. It would be a harsh examiner who faulted you for adjusting a visor but if you get a wobble on whilst doing it then you are asking for trouble! Quote
Tommy tucker Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 I normally sit at lights etc with it open, and then shut it once I've moved off. Glad to hear it shouldn't be a problem, I'll let you know how I get on! Quote
Weebl Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Although mine was not that long ago I cannot actually remember I think however that at least a few times I dropped it again after moving off. I definitely opened it a few times due to the nerves and the hot day causing a bit of fogging. (and the swearing as I thought I had cocked up badly enough to fail, which was then not even mentioned on the debrief, never mind scored down)Like I say, I cannot swear that I did not do it as part of putting the bike in gear before moving off, it did not register as a big thing I suppose so I never thought about it, hence not remembering?Good luck with the Mod 2 Quote
freetime101 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Was pissing down for my mod2 so I was constantly adjusting and/or wiping the visor and it never got mentioned... I had a cool examiner though Remember examiners are bikers too! Quote

Tommy tucker Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 I'm hoping it won't be raining on my mod 2, not holding out though... Quote
