Hi all!

Just a quick question, can you adjust your visor while riding or has it got to be done while at a standstill?

Thank you!

Why would you need to?

If it is misting up then get a pinlock or some anti fogging spray. You need to be in control of the machine. It would be a harsh examiner who faulted you for adjusting a visor but if you get a wobble on whilst doing it then you are asking for trouble!

I normally sit at lights etc with it open, and then shut it once I've moved off. Glad to hear it shouldn't be a problem, I'll let you know how I get on! :)

Although mine was not that long ago I cannot actually remember

I think however that at least a few times I dropped it again after moving off. I definitely opened it a few times due to the nerves and the hot day causing a bit of fogging. (and the swearing as I thought I had cocked up badly enough to fail, which was then not even mentioned on the debrief, never mind scored down)

Like I say, I cannot swear that I did not do it as part of putting the bike in gear before moving off, it did not register as a big thing I suppose so I never thought about it, hence not remembering?

Good luck with the Mod 2 :)

Was pissing down for my mod2 so I was constantly adjusting and/or wiping the visor and it never got mentioned... I had a cool examiner though 8-)

Remember examiners are bikers too!
