johnnyturnip Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Sorry I've not updated this.I had a new map put on and new reg/rec it still sounds like a tractor on idle more so when warmed up. I also put a battery monitor on and everytime I'm at idle it flashes red the instructions say that's not charging. Fully charged battery and triumph say no fault in the stator. Then when I put it on charge it goes into maintain after a minute. Other then that the weather's been nice today... Quote
Rik398 Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 Still not charging even after new reg / rec? It might sound rough due to it being EFI, so needs the power to run. Saying that, it would have to be fairly low for that to start happening. So its been to the garage and still not working? Quote
johnnyturnip Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Well it's working as it's charging at revs according to the monitor just dropping at idle. But when I put it on the trickle it's going straight to maintain. So fully charged. Had the reg/reg straight to battery something isn't right but I was told the stator is spot on.Maybe the monitor isn't the best. It does sound rough at idle. Quote
