BoB3rt Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Having read a few articles and forums, I'm being told full synthetic is best to get for my ZX6R (99) G2. Also reading Castrol GPS Racing is a good bet as it is for high tolerance! Although this was back in 2009 - 10. Any advice? Thanks Quote
Chrissb6 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Just make sure you get an oil thats bike compatable. Some FS oils can cause clutch problems. Quote

Colin the Bear Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 The only reason for a fancy oil for the track, as far as I'm aware is to reduce drag and maybe shave off a couple of tenths of a second per lap. You need a couple of tenths? Quote
BoB3rt Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Everyone on the track wants a couple of tenths!! I got Motul 5100 (Semi) mines an older engine so better being a little thicker i think. Also the ester in it helps with high temps and higher revs. Quote
Colin the Bear Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Substitute lettuce for chips and get a whole second Quote
