ManInASuitcase Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 First they leave Crutchlow dangling then do the same to Redding. Is this anyway to do business?Similar to the Rossi scenario when Spies became available I think this put an end to Reddings hope of the ride.Wanted an Italian in the team so went with Iannone to partner Spies even though I think I read Scott was the fastest of the two in testing.Anyone heard what Redding will be riding next year now?Steve Quote
baggy Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I read today its between Rea, Redding and Bautista for the Gresini Honda ride Quote
yorbandit Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Well thats a far better bike than the ducati Quote
techno Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 It was audi that pulled the plug on crutchlow not ducati, as for ianonne it may have been exactly a business decision if they can get more sponsorship than going with redding than that's exactly the way to do business, they may have also seen more potential in Andrea, one test does not necessarily mean quicker. Matt Strange Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Ducati may as well try to keep Valentino after spending god knows how many millions trying to get the bike into a state that he can handle - after all, he scored a 2nd place on it at last. Perhaps the Ducati team stole a Yamaha from the paddock then stuck some Ducati badges on it? Quote

Yeah,it was great to see Rossi back at the sharp end for once and also for the spectators.Pity Crutchlow binned it but you could see with his body language he wasn't going to sit behind Dovi.for the whole race again without giving it a go to pass.Next time it showed him he was on the deck. His starts are costing him big time.
