Roxyy Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Anyone has/had one? Thinking about to get it, discounted from £225 to £146 from Ghostbikes. Scared to buy a lid which I never tried before, can return it though. Some time ago I tried MT Flux helmet in local shop which I really liked and found it really comfortable (comparing to my first helmet which is the cheapest I could get locally), for £90. The Caberg one has 5 star sharp rating. Both flip up, with built in sun visor. Caberg seems to be better quality, Which of these would you choose? Quote
Glorian Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Not had this exact model, but i currently use a Caberg V2R, Fantastic helmet, it's warm, quiet, looks amazing, couldn't recomend it more! Personally not a fan of flip up helmets but each to their own! Give it a try Quote
bmwdave Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I tested a Caberg to destruction a few years ago. My head was one of few undamaged bits - did all you could ask of it. Quote

Roxyy Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Forgot to mention that I'm riding with anti-fog pinlock Quote
stumblebum Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I bought one last week and still haven't put it in! It's working all tickety boo then? Quote
Roxyy Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Yeah it's working fine, very comfy, light, quiet enough (over 60mph starts being noisy but thats what earplugs are for) and sun visor is really useful, don't know what i would do without it today! (3 hours of riding with a low sun facing on me) Quote
stumblebum Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 The sun visor is a god send, I have to be careful lowering it though otherwise it smacks me right across the bridge of my shnozz! Quote
