Cb100n headlight change

I am thinking of changing the heqdlight on my bike. I have seen bikes with different headlights fitted than stock ones. My question is, would it be worth it. My bike does not have the fork mounts for headlights, but a seperate mount. Would I have to get some fork fitting mounts.
