Scoot65 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I'm in the market for a new textile Gore-tex jacket and trousers. My last ones were from Hein Gericke and were the 'Performance Shell' type i.e. the jacket had a gore-tex lining hanging underneath the outer textile layer, which was great, but meant that outer fabric wetted out and took ages to dry out. This time around I'm thinking about Goretex's 'pro shell' which is when the gore-tex is laminated to the outer fabric. Some of Dainese's Gore-tex jackets are described as being "Breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex membrane laminated to the outer fabric." Although not specifically called "pro shell" the description sounds the same.Has anyone got any experience using Dainese Gore-tex Textile jackets / trousers? If so, what's your views?Cheers! Quote
Guest Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 its the only way to go, once you've worn one in inclement weather you will never go back to the loose liner type. they all work to stop the jacket wetting out. Quote
