For those of you that haven't been there before either coming south or north bound on the A6 will bring you into Matlock Bath.I'll be meeting everyone there to relieve you of your goodies (and the puddings/cakes/deserts don't have to be home made so don't worry if ur the kind of person that wud burn water! Mentioning no names.. )If u need to stop over, u can always crash at ours, but I can't guarentee a bed... the floor may have to do. If you need to crash, please pm me in advance so I can make sure I have enuff bedding out...(It's a woman thing! )The route we're taking is the Via Gella triangle - that takes us up to Ashborne and back through beautiful countryside. Akeface will post the route later.The route in total is about an hour and because there are quite a few of us, we're anticipating that we all won't want to ride as a pack (as convoy drills with such a big group will be fairly unmanagable at speed). Therefore, we'll provide everyone with a map, just in case some folks want to shoot off. For those of you that prefer a more leisurely ride through some of Derbyshire's finest countryside I'll be only too happy to lead that group and take the pressure off anyone having to use a map.We'll regroup again at the Fishpond in Matlock Bath and then from there convoy back to our house for goodies and a brew or 2 (or 3). Therefore for those coming by car, the ETA at the Akehurst household is about 13.30...(missed my vocation in life I think ) If you're coming by car you'll also need our address which I'll pm back when you drop me a line.So........
