Burgess118 Posted April 19, 2014 Share Posted April 19, 2014 Yes, I had a 2008 YBR, up unroll early last year when I got my Fazer600.I ran it for miles and miles, but towards the end (before I sold it back to the guys I bought it off) I noticed every so often, the bike would just cut out and roll, and after stopping kick back into action. bluepanido Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 This happens to me occasionally (about once every week or two) on my YBR125. The engine cuts out for a few seconds and the light is flashing, then it fires up again on its own. I commute 70 miles a day on it.Also, it never starts first time. I have to press the electric start button up to 6 times before it starts - the starter motor turns over, but when it doesn't start and I let go of the button, the engine warning light starts flashing? klingelton Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 happened to me once on my YBR.never happened again before i sold it, so never investigated.might check the switch on the side stand though.also the engine light flashes indicate the fault code - if you can find the manual, you can find the fault.
