Welsh National - Builth Well...A TMBF take-over maybe?

As it's unlikey that we'll be able to sort our own rally this year we could all go on mass to an already established event. We were thinking The Welsh National because it's a simply stunning event. It's the 2nd bank holiday in May each year and is well worth the trip.

There's live music, shows throughout the day, pubs with entertainment, shops stalls etc...

We've been 3 years in a row and only missed it last year coz we were moving house.

Loads of camping facilities and opportunity for some fab rideouts too.

So wot d'ya think?

I'm happy to organise going if anyone is interested. We usually go up on the Friday night after work and come back on the Sunday later or the Monday morning, but anything goes so if u can only make it for a day...u can get a day pass etc...

We haven't been with kids so far, but will be doing this year.

We've also been with friends who have taken their kids. If there's a reasonable amount of us going...keeping the wee ones entertained won't be a problem.

I will have to go as willow cant drive the van when its towing a trailer !!!!

If only she had passed her test a year earlier

3 days and nights of live music, yagermeister (and the yagermeister girls), entertainment in a live arena (usually an extreame mx team or something) entertainment under cover, custom show (not all chrome some outstanding streetfighters and stuff as well) and loads of great stands etc.

Oh and did I mention live music in 3 or 4 different bars every night, and lots and lots of drink - always good value too.

Oh and proper toilets and showers as well!!!!!!

There is always the option to head out to ride some outstanding roads over the weekend as well (hence the trailer for the bikes).

If I get time later on I will chuck up some pics from 2005 so you can see the sort of thing.

Yup several hotles QB and if memory serves...there's a Travel Lodge just dwon the road...walking distance.
