Hello all,

Sorry to start off here with a (probably very stupid) question. I hold a normal EU Car drivers license for 5 years now. What bikes am I allowed to drive with this? Are 50ccm's the limit, or am I allowed to ride 125ccm's? I'm planning to do the "full" motorbike license here in the UK anyway, basically thinking whether I can buy my own machine during the CBT..

Thanks a lot in advance!

as you are over 17 years old once you have passed your cbt you can ride up to a 125cc bike just make sure that your eu licence has got motorcycle provisional on it

I think you'll find that the provisional entitlement(s) ceases at the border.

You cannot drive to another country on just a provisional licence or certificate.
