Guest Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Hello all,Sorry to start off here with a (probably very stupid) question. I hold a normal EU Car drivers license for 5 years now. What bikes am I allowed to drive with this? Are 50ccm's the limit, or am I allowed to ride 125ccm's? I'm planning to do the "full" motorbike license here in the UK anyway, basically thinking whether I can buy my own machine during the CBT..Thanks a lot in advance! Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 as you are over 17 years old once you have passed your cbt you can ride up to a 125cc bike just make sure that your eu licence has got motorcycle provisional on it Quote

You cannot drive to another country on just a provisional licence or certificate. Source: http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/vehicles/driving/validity/tourist_en.htm Quote
