asharin Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I've had an intermittent fault for a while on the GT550, in that the lights would go off sometimes but a quick wiggle of the wires would fix it. Been meaning to get around to sorting it, but now my hand is forced, as they are no longer working at all.No headlight, no rear light, no indicators and no stop light Fuses are all okay, so I can only assume it's a break somewhere in the loom Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 dheck the plugs inside the headlight make sure they are all clean aand pushed together correctly and also check the fuse box main wiring plug make sure thats all nice and clean as well the problem has to be something like that for it to work when you poke the loom and losing everything on one side of handlebar sounds like plugs or even a bad earth Quote
asharin Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Plugs fine, fuses fine. I'm guessing a bad earth myself, will have a fiddle tomorrow and see Quote
asharin Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Turned out to be a split in the earth wire in the ain loom. All sorted now Quote
