Do i need to update my license after CBT?

Hi All,

So i passed my CBT yesterday with an aim to gain my full license before the end of this year. I'm planning on booking a 4 day course with 2 days training and then 2 days exams off the back of my instructors recommendation.

Was just wondering if i would need to update my Driving license to show i have passed the CBT or is the certificate alone enough?

as far as i know the certificate on its own is good enough but ask training school you are booking test with

There's nothing to update, as such. Being in possession of a CBT certificate merely validates the provisional Gp A on your licence's paper counterpart.

Nope.

If they ask to see it and you don't have it they will give you a form/ticket saying please present it to "Said police station" within 7 days. Thats if they really are bothered chances are they won't be.

Once you do your full license the DSA instructor will offer to take your license and send it away for updating
