Guest Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Hi guys! I'm planning on taking my A2 license next year when I'm back from my gap year. I've already found rough ideas of the bike I want etc but I just have an important (i think) question- CBT only allows you to ride up 125cc on L plates but the A2 test needs to be done on a bike of at least 395CC and up to 47bhp- right? So do this mean that I will have to restrict my bike down for a month or two between doing my CBT and test if I want to ride on roads?Thank you in advance! wr6133 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 You can't restrict a bike down to 125cc.The CC refers to the capacity of the engine not some power figure so it's either a 125cc or not a 125ccSo no you can't Quote
Dav3y Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Generally, most people do the Mod 1 on a school bike. You certainly can't ride anything other than a 125 on CBT. Quote
