gpz 500s rear shocks? dog bones?

Hi guys, are there any longer/taller shocks that could be fitted to a gpz500s ? Reason? a better ride from the rear, and a rise in seating height.

p.s. anyone experience with raising kits/dog bones?

you want shorter dog bones to jack it up...the opposite of what I usually have to do , lol

Get a metal shop to make some?

Just find the distance between the centres of the current dog bones, and maybe drop the distance by 5mm on the new ones. Should give a nice change without sharply changing geometry. The GPZ doesn't really need the change anyway!
